Cookie Policy
Which cookies this site sets, what each one is for, and how to change your mind at any time.

What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser so it can remember something between page loads — that you are signed in, or which cookies you agreed to. Similar technologies such as local storage do the same job, and this policy covers those too.
The three categories
- Essential — needed for the site to work at all. These cannot be switched off, and they are set without consent because the site would not function without them.
- Analytics — aggregated statistics about which pages people visit and where they run into trouble. Optional, and off until you say yes.
- Marketing — measuring whether our advertising reaches the right people. Optional, and off until you say yes.
What is actually set right now
| Name | Category | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
PHPSESSID |
Essential | Keeps your session and protects forms against cross-site request forgery. | When you close the browser |
nd_consent |
Essential | Remembers the cookie choice you made, so we stop asking. | 12 months |
nd_theme |
Essential (local storage) | Remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. | Until you clear site data |
No analytics or marketing tags are running on this site at the moment. The categories exist in the banner because we expect to add measurement later, and nothing in either category will load unless you have granted it first.
Third-party content
This site loads no fonts, scripts, images or embeds from other companies' servers. Every asset comes from our own domain, which means no third party learns your IP address simply because you opened a page here.
Changing your choice
Use the link — it is in the footer of every page, and the button here opens the same panel. Your choice takes effect immediately and is stored for twelve months, after which we will ask again.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser. In Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge this lives under Settings → Privacy. Blocking essential cookies will stop the forms on this site from working.
More information
How we handle personal data more generally is set out in the Privacy Policy. Questions about either can go to privacy@nemodits.net.
