From sign-up to payout
The whole process, described honestly — including the parts people usually leave out, like why a submission can be rejected and why some weeks are quiet.
1. Applying to join
Membership starts with a short application: your name, email address and age, the country you live in, the devices you can test on, how much time you expect to have, and a few sentences about a product that frustrated you recently. You must be at least 18, and it is one application — later one account — per person.
A person on the team reads every application; the written answer carries the most weight, because it shows how you describe a problem. If you are approved, we contact you by email — usually within a few days. Your profile details are never published, and they exist for one reason: matching. A study looking for Android users in Germany cannot find you if we do not know you are one.
2. How studies are matched
Clients tell us who they need to hear from. We compare that against member profiles and open the study to people who fit. When something matches you, it appears in your dashboard with the estimated time, the point value and what is expected of you — all before you commit.
Two things follow from this, and both are worth stating plainly:
- Volume varies. Availability depends on your profile, your region and how much research clients are running that month. There is no guaranteed number of studies, and we will not pretend otherwise.
- Some studies fill quickly. Popular ones close once enough people have taken part. If a study disappears from your list, that is usually why.
3. What a task looks like
Most tasks take between five and thirty minutes. The instructions are written by the client and reviewed by us before the study opens. A typical one asks you to:
- install or open a product, or visit a website;
- attempt a specific goal — sign up, find a setting, complete a purchase in a test mode;
- answer questions about what happened, in your own words;
- flag anything confusing, slow or broken.
You are never asked to spend your own money, to enter real payment details, or to share passwords for accounts you already own. If a study appears to ask for any of those, stop and report it to support@nemodits.net.
4. Review and quality
Every submission is reviewed before points are released. Most are accepted. The ones that are not usually fall into a small number of categories:
| Reason | What it looks like |
|---|---|
| Too thin | One-word answers where the study asked for a description. |
| Inconsistent | Answers that contradict each other or the recorded session. |
| Task not completed | Feedback about a screen the task never reached. |
| Copied text | Identical wording across submissions, or text pasted from elsewhere. |
| Profile mismatch | Answers showing the profile details used to qualify were not accurate. |
A rejection comes with a reason, and you can reply to it. If we got it wrong, the points are released. Repeated rejections for the same reason can lead to a pause on your account — the details are in the Community Guidelines.
5. Points
Accepted work adds points to your balance, usually within a day or two of submission. 100 points equal $1.00. That rate is fixed and published; it does not change based on how active you are or how long you have been a member.
Points are not a currency, cannot be transferred between accounts, and have no cash value until you redeem them. While your account is open and in good standing, they do not expire.
6. Getting paid
Once your balance reaches 1000 points ($10.00) you can request a payout. First withdrawals require a one-time identity check — it is the least pleasant part of the process and it exists because it is what keeps duplicate accounts from draining the pool everyone else is paid from.
Payouts are processed within 3–5 business days. There is no withdrawal fee from us; your chosen provider may apply its own. The full breakdown is on the Rewards & payouts page.
7. Leaving
You can close your account at any time from your settings, or by emailing privacy@nemodits.net. Any balance above the minimum can be withdrawn first. What happens to your data afterwards is set out in the Privacy Policy.
